This Monday there will be street closures in Colonia San Antonio; they will resurface (sp).
As of today, there is an advance of 30 percent in the repaving works of Plaza San Antonio street (section Pípila to Callejón de San Antonio) and Avenida Allende street (section Orizaba to Callejón de San Antonio) in the San Antonio neighborhood.

This work is in charge of the Infrastructure and Public Works Directorate and the actions carried out are the removal of the current pavement from both streets, ditching for the SAPASMA ductwork on Allende Avenue, changes of the old and new drainage, as well as the intakes of water, having 48 in Allende street and 5 in Plaza de San Antonio.

The work consists of paving boxes, trench excavations for drinking water lines, laying of material, paving in cobblestone, ball stone drowned in mortar, road signs, hydraulic installation work and the formation of sidewalks. With an investment of over 2 million 300 thousand pesos in materials, labor and machinery.

For this reason, road alternatives continue in the area to speed up vehicular circulation. For these works, there will be street closings in Tinajitas, Callejón de San Antonio, Pípila and Potrero.

In addition, the same recommendations given by the Directorate of Infrastructure and Public Works to transit the area are maintained: prevent the parking of personal vehicles off-site, as well as the trucks and vans that supply services at home (gas, purified water, among others), respect the signs and limits of work, as well as the use of mouth masks, if necessary.

Starting Monday March 2 there will be street closures in Colonia San Antonio; they will resurface
There will be avenues closing in the San Antonio neighborhood in San Miguel de Allende for works that will be carried out on site, for you to take your precautions.

On Monday, March 2, Public Works will begin warning that they will close several streets of the San Antonio neighborhood to resurface the streets. They will start with Plaza San Antonio (Pípila section to Callejón de San Antonio) and Avenida Allende street (Orizaba section to Callejón de San Antonio), there ...

Is San Miguel de Allende Mexico’s Cultural Capital par excellence?
No one I spoke to in San Miguel de Allende knew it had been chosen as 2019’s Cultural Capital of the Americas.

Even the tourist office seemed non-plussed. ‘No we don’t have any extra events or activities going on,’ said Rodrigo with a shrug.

Actually, that says it all, for San Miguel de Allende is cultural every day of the year.

Dirty play: after progress of labeling in Congress, food companies seek to sabotage the NOM
There is no warning labeling, but it may not be possible to stop deceptive techniques that promote harmful products and that there is no seal that warns of products aimed at children.
This story starts the article “The dangers of ignoring history: the tobacco industry played dirty and millions died. How similar is the food industry? Its authors, Kelly Brownell and Kenneth E Warner, published it in 2009 "in the hope that food history will be written differently," they said.

It has not been like that. It's been almost exactly 65 years since the tobacco company meeting in New York and 10 years of the Brownell and Warner publication, but the big food and beverage industry has been dedicated to learning and improving the strategies of the tobacco industry; In addition to taking advantage of the fact that, unlike tobacco, its products are not obviously harmful or make anyone who uses them cough.

The Spherical Object is in the Back of the Net
Among the many versatilities of the Spanish language is the use of adjectives as nouns. By adding “el,” “los,” “la,” or “las” before an adjective or past participle of a verb, you get a descriptive noun referring to a person, place or thing.

El veloz – “the speedy” one
La Ventosa – “the windy” place
Los desesperados – “the desperate” ones
The Spherical Object is in the Back of the Net.

The Arcade of Guadalupe Avenue, the goodbye to the trees and the 'cooperacha' that the tenants ask for
Derived from the application of the “Maintenance and conservation of streets” program that runs the infrastructure and public works management, Guadalupe Avenue will have partial closure of streets from September 21.

As part of the dignification of this area, this Saturday, September 21 will begin the rehabilitation work of the stamped concrete pavement on Guadalupe Avenue, from the section that goes from the Station Road to the Avenue Independence.

For this reason, there will be total closure of the section that goes from Calzada de la Estación to San Rafael street and the section of Antonio Villanueva to Insurgentes, during the first stage of this action.
