Just click on the link to access the auction website then click on the auction catalog to discover the treasures that await you.

Starting this Friday you will be able to bid on fine art, destination packages and adventures, unique silver jewelry, fabulous gift baskets, spa treatments and much more, from the comfort of your favourite armchair. Many of the items being presented, particularly the fine silver jewelry, have been handcrafted by the students at EEESMA School for the Deaf. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of those items will go directly to benefit the students who created the pieces.

In addition, the popular Wine Pull is back, offering cash donors the opportunity to secure one of 75 bottles of fine Bajio regional wine graciously provided by La Santisima Trinidad. What better way to explore some of the select and premium wines for which San Miguel’s vintners are becoming famous.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the contributors and sponsors who have generously supported this major fundraising event for the school.

You can now register for free and with no obligation on the auction website. If you decide to join in the bidding, know that you are helping some very special children to realize their dreams for an education and a brighter future, filled with hope and promise.

    Blessing and gratitude,
    John Doherty

The mission of EEESMA School for the Deaf is to ensure that all San Miguel de Allende children who are deaf become literate, independent, and productive citizens who set and achieve life goals. All funds raised at the auction will help provide education, skills training, and hope for children residing in the area who are deaf. There are no government-funded schools for the deaf in Guanajuato. EEESMA depends on donations, grants, and fundraisers like this one to keep its doors open.

The story of Laurita is a shining example of the opportunities that EEESMA is providing and the successes that the students are achieving. Laurita will graduate from Utel Online University in the next couple of months with an undergraduate degree in education. She will then join the faculty of EEESMA as a fully qualified teacher, fluent in Mexican sign language, paying it forward while at the same time being an excellent role model to the deaf children under her tutelage. Laurita joined EEESMA at primary school age and advanced through middle school and high school with flying colors. Her hard work and dedication have paid off, for herself and for everyone at the school.

I was the winning bidder on the coffee table book about San Miguel by Ted Davis. Where do I go to pick up my item? I think I have paid for it online
