    MORNING BIRDWALK Saturday, September 16

    Join Audubon on Saturday, September 16 for a morning birdwalk with guides Luke Rich and Norman Besman.

    September is a great time to watch and learn about our many species of year-around resident birds and enjoy the wildflowers and fields of green. We'll be heading to Pena Blanca, a site near la Canada de la Virgin, with a stream, big trees and agricultural fields.

    • Meets at the Instituto Allende, 20 Ancha de San Antonio, at 7:45 a.m. to check in. We will depart at 8 am and return by noon.
    • 200 pesos non-members/members free
    • Transportation by carpool, if you have a car, please bring it!
    • We will have binoculars to lend, and spotting scopes to view the birds up close.
    • Sturdy shoes and layered clothing are recommended.
