Please join us for the 7th annual Spirit of Hope Gala, A Ganesha Celebration, on Thursday, October 4th, at the beautiful Hacienda Los Picachos. This elegant Indian-themed party will feature a delicious multi-course dinner, open bar, dancing, and lots of fun and surprises. As has become the custom at Casita Linda galas, we will auction off several spectacular luxury vacations to sunny beach locations and to Europe and beyond.

The gala begins at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception hosted by Tequila Solórzano and Cerveza Allende. Enjoy exquisite cocktails developed by skilled mixologists along with an hors d’oeuvres table brimming with Indian delights. The seated dinner will begin at 7:30 featuring your choice of Indian or Continental fare. After dinner, dance the night away in our Indian paradise. An open bar will be yours to partake in all night long, as well as our now famous Solórzano Tequila Bar.

Last year, our La Dolce Vita gala was attended by 225 people and was the talk of the town. In fact, our galas have sold out for the last three years in a row, so get your tickets early!. Ladies, if you really want to get in the spirit of the event, come in a sari or other glamorous Indian gown to win our “best dressed” prize. Everyone, get ready for an exotic trip to a faraway land while helping those in need in our own beloved community.

Casita Linda builds homes for the poorest of the poor here in San Miguel de Allende, and we conduct workshops to help the families we serve better their living conditions and improve many aspects of their lives. We have now built 106 homes, and the proceeds from last year's gala enabled us to complete 7 of those houses. Our plans for 2019 also include building a community educational center to serve children and young adults in several ejidos. Please come and be part of this wonderful celebration while helping those truly in need.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.casitalinda.org, from all Casita Linda board members, or at Solutions on Recreo 11. Tickets are $135 US per person or the peso equivalent. All tickets are tax-deductible. Please visit www.casitalinda.org for more information about our work.

See you all on October 4th!!!
