    Guadalupe Avenue trees are "stressed"
On Tuesday afternoon, a group of activists met with the Director of Environment and Sustainability, Francisco Peyret to discuss the 41 trees of Guadalupe Avenue that will be removed.

Peyret said the project is to perform a transplant of the 41 ficus-type trees to a site in the Bicentennial Park, where they have already prepared the place and for this they have previously worked to ensure the survival of the trees.

During the meeting it was explained, the ficus trees that are currently on Guadalupe Avenue are stressed by the small space they own, and the large trucks that pass through the area constantly damage them. The specialist mentioned there is a risk when transplanting, so it is not known whether or not the ficus that currently adorn Guadalupe Avenue will survive.
