    San Miguel Literary Sala Presents
Dramatic Conflict: The Engine That Moves Your Story Forward with Dale Griffiths Stamos

Although writers are always exhorted to create “conflict” in their work, not all conflict is the same. This two part three-hour workshop explores the difference between ineffective conflict and dramatic conflict. We delve into the elements of dramatic conflict, looking at: How does it move a story forward? How does it work on both internal and external levels? How does it function within a scene? What is the relationship between character and dramatic conflict? Additionally, we will examine the role of conflict and its effective use in the work of workshop participants. (Once you register please check your order details and download the class handout.)
