    Hi everyone, feliz 2021!
    just wanted to share that we are continuing outdoor film screenings at Compartimento Cinematográfico inside Mezcal- Art on Calzda de la Estación 59 ( next to Immigration offices) every Thursday with a kids program at 6pm and a feature film premiere at 7:30pm. Tomorrow we're screening BEANPOLE.

    Located inside Mezcal-Art on Calzada de la Estación 59 (next to Immigration offices), Compartimento Cinematográfico seeks to create a regular home for cinephiles in San Miguel de Allende and to celebrate cinema as a communal cultural experience on a weekly basis- a safe meeting point with all health precautions where audiences can enjoy access to curated programming and discover both contemporary Mexican cinema and foreign films that do not reach commercial theaters in the region.Happy new year!     2021 is looking bright already with several top- titles lined up to premiere in San Miguel over the next weeks!     Kids Programming
    Every Thursday 6pm
    We couldn’t be more excited about the great response from our youngest audiences and have prepared a special selection of (mostly animated) short films for children to screen Thursdays at 6pm.

    As we remain alert to the current health situation, we are not currently scheduling public screenings inside the theater, but will be taking private bookings- please feel free to reach out if you would like to come watch one of our films with your family or friends!
