My Pandemic Days—A New Covid Zoom Writing Pod

Put an end to Blursdays! Throw a monkey wrench in the doomscrolling!
Our Pod offers dedicated time each week to focus on your writing.
Write for yourself, for your nearest and dearest, for the strangers you want to reach.
Explore memoir, fiction, personal essay, blog post or poem, or just write what’s in your mind and heart and see what shape it takes.
Seasoned writer or beginner, everyone writes!
Soothe those waiting-for-the-vaccine jitters, banish third-wave-lockdown déjà vu—write!

Prompts and short readings will help inspire new writing, or new takes on a current project.
Everyone will have the chance to read aloud (sharing is encouraged but not required), and to respond positively to what, in others’ writing, pleases the ear or reverberates in the mind and heart.
Straighten the pandemic time warp. Write!

Four 2-hour sessions of Writing Pod for just $125.
    Wednesdays, Jan 6-27 (6,13,20, 27), 1 PM-3 PM ET
    (12 PM-2 PM CT – San Miguel / 11 AM-1 PM MT / 10-AM-12 PM PT)

To register, and for payment options, contact me at (shammer266 AT icloud DOT com). Please put “Pandemic Workshop’ in the subject line.

Emerge from each Pod session with a solid beginning or real progress on one or more narratives or poems.
    • Pod size is limited for maximum participation.
    • Prompts and short readings will be emailed prior to each session.
    • Join the pod on any device (computer, tablet, phone). Good wifi helps, but participants can also call in.

Madeleine Butler, British Columbia, Canada, writes:
“I was fortunate to be in Signe Hammer's first My Pandemic workshop, meeting via Zoom .... Signe was a supportive, organized leader [of] our weekly meetings. In our sessions I created pieces that were often surprising and revealing; pieces I would never have written otherwise.
I would take another workshop with Signe Hammer in a heartbeat – I wouldn't hesitate! recommend her highly.
