    The representatives of Los Locos and the government reached an agreement for a peaceful parade. A few excerpts:
    • Prohibition of alcohol sales on the day of the event.
    • Police will prohibit vehicles entering Centro.
    • No parking from 8am on parade route.

    This unique event is a walk that starts from the Church of San Antonio, then marches along the streets of Zacateros , Hernández Macías, Insurgentes , Aparicio and San Francisco Núñez, until getting right in front of the Central Garden . This parade that includes people from the districts of San Miguel , as well as visitors, is sheathed in colorful animal costumes , political characterizations, transvestites, etc. ...

    Participants throw candy to spectators so be sure to bring your umbrella for protection.
