    Colum McCann is the founder of an international Story Exchange project called Narrative 4 that is making an impact on communities all over the world. The topic of his talk, which promises to be thoroughly engaging, will be, “Story Telling Across the Divides: How Story Telling (and Listening) Can Heal our Tired Hearts.” He believes we can expand our sense of what the world is by listening to others, and can bring about real action on the ground through the exchange of stories.

    Zeferino Gutierrez Park will host Candelaria Fair Jan 30-Feb 16
    Due to the remodeling work of Benito Juárez Park, this year the @GobSMA will carry out the 64th edition of the traditional 'Feria de la Candelaria' of SanMiguelDeAllende at the facilities of the Zeferino Gutiérrez park.
    This fair will offer the sale of plants, flowers, pots, fertilizer, humus and implants for gardening in more than 300 linear meters of tents. The schedule will be from 8 in the morning to 9 at night, while the inauguration will take place on Friday, January 31, at 5 in the afternoon, by the municipal president Luis Alberto Villarreal.

    Parque Juárez to reopen Feb 29
    It will be this February 29 when the Benito Juarez Park reopens its doors and basketball courts, three months after the start of the rehabilitation works and which included corridors, courts, streams, green areas and bridges.

    As of today, the works register a progress of 95 percent in all the intervened areas. In addition, the concrete was recently placed on the actions on the basketball courts, which they only hope will set in order to start painting the lines in another week. In total, there will be two courts that have the regulatory measures by the national basketball federation in Mexico.

    On February 29, the Park will be reopened with several games where there will be two professional teams from the state of Guanajuato and former professional players from San Miguel de Allende and from various parts of the Mexican Republic.

    Edgar Israel Zamudio Aguado, manager of the Tourist Council of San Miguel de Allende in the accompaniment of the Festival presentation. SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE.- The Municipal Government of San Miguel de Allende, through the Tourism Council, were part of the presentation of the first edition of the International Festival Lesbian ‘Ella’.

    The Infrastructure and Public Works Department has put together a PDF file for six alternate routes with maps for the overpass work in Glorieta El Pípila.
