Cannabis in California: the green fever that still does not materialize
About 170 years after the gold rush in California, the promise of green fever emerged.

The legalization of cannabis for recreational use in adults in California was expected to be massive. In 2016, industry investors said sales could exceed $ 6.5 billion by 2020.

And as 2019 comes to an end, California is home to the world's largest cannabis market, with a total of about $ 12 billion in estimated sales. But here's the problem: $ 8.7 billion of that figure is changing hands in the illicit market.
